About Photonics Applications Week (PHAPPS Week)
Photonics Applications Week (PHAPPS Week) 2019 takes place from September 30 to October 04, 2019 in the Brainport Region (Eindhoven / Helmond, The Netherlands).

PHAPPS Week is an umbrella event, focused on real life applications of photonics in various domains and includes workshops, conferences, exhibitions, lectures, networking events, debates and hackathons organised by different companies and institutions involved in Photonics.

Each weekday will have a focus on one or more specific vertical/applications areas. Per day we invite organisations to organise events for instance in healthcare topics like oncology, dermatology etc. They are free to fill in the content of the program, but the program committee will curate whether it fits or not and will also provide guidance/advice so that there are no conflicting events. These activities can be free and/or paid, but must fit in the schedule / program.
