About Marcel van Haren
Marcel van Haren works as clustermanager Agri & Food at FME, the Dutch association for entrepreneurs in the technology industry. In the cluster over 15 organisations cooperate to accelerate the innovation in the field of machines, technology and ICT for the agri & food sector. Besides his primary role of clustermanager Marcel is also director of GMV, the association of machinebuilders for foodprocessing, and NAFTC, the export platform for Agri & Food solutions, having offices in China, India, Vietnam and Turkey. In 2013 Marcel van Haren, in his role at FME, was involved in the setup and start of the Postharvest Network, driven by a strong believe that helping developing countries to prevent having large volumes of post harvest losses, is one of the biggest gains for having less foodwaste in the world.

Photonics Applications Week (PHAPPS Week) takes place during the week September 30 – October 5, 2018, in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
